About the Band

Ethan Phillips

Ethan Phillips is an up-and-coming singer/songwriter from Clayton, Georgia. He began playing guitar around the age of thirteen and began writing songs right along the same time. Growing up in the Northeast Georgia Mountains, he was heavily influenced by gospel, bluegrass, and country music. As he got older, writing became more serious. Phillips is known as a “humble giant” who pens lyrics with insight far beyond his years. In 2018, Phillips was a part of the Grand Ole Opry’s WSM Radio Road Show. Also, in January of 2018, he released his debut gospel record entitled, “Saved By Grace.”

Joe Kilby

Known to many as “the Amazing Joe Kilby,” Joe grew up in Rabun Gap, Georgia. He started playing mandolin when he was five years old. For him, music was a hobby that blossomed into much more very quickly. He first picked up a guitar when he was around seven years old. His father was in a semi-professional bluegrass band, so bluegrass was in his blood. He cut his teeth on flatpicking music. He began writing and recording music when he was twelve, but discovered his craft leaned more toward a country style. Over the years, Joe has become a musical prodigy: singing harmonies, writing songs, and playing any instrument he can get his hands on. Just one listen and you’ll quickly learn why they call him “the Amazing Joe Kilby.”
